(8 p.m., 12:01 a.m., Lifetime): As host of the popular podcast “Holiday Love,” Natalie Morgan (Melissa Joan Hart) entertains her listeners with true stories of love during the season running from Halloween to Christmas. Fans consider Natalie an expert on love, unaware that she’s never actually had a serious romance of her own. As she prepares for this year’s yuletide podcast, though, she begins to experience her own love.

(8 p.m., CBS): In this animated classic, Jackie Vernon provides the voice of Frosty, the legendary snowman with a corncob pipe and a button nose. Frosty comes to life when a magician’s hat lands on his head. With the help of children, he heads for the North Pole before he melts — but he’s pursued by the magician, who wants his hat back. Billy De Wolfe supplies the voice of the magician, and Jimmy Durante narrates the tale.

(8 p.m., Hallmark): After she moves back to her rustic hometown, Lisa (Bethany Joy Lenz) conspires with her siblings and grandparents to get her father a very special Christmas present: a five-star review for his new bed-and-breakfast from a travel critic who always works incognito. Meanwhile, she falls for a handsome visitor (Victor Webster), not realizing he’s — spoiler alert! — the actual critic in question.

(8:30 p.m., NBC): The beloved little chattering yellow characters from the “Despicable Me” movie franchise celebrate the season in their, um, inimitable fashion as they present a half-hour of holiday-themed mischief and playful, family-friendly adventures in this new special. Fans can expect plenty of their trademark brand of offbeat comedy antics.

(9 p.m., CW): A familiar holiday tune — and one that’s more off-color than most — is translated into an animated show as this special sets visuals to the long-popular Elmo and Patsy song. A youngster has his suspicions about why his grandmother is missing on Christmas Eve. His quest to find her involves his not-as-pure-minded cousin (voice of Michele Lee).

(9 p.m., 12 a.m., HGTV): Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Broadway’s “Aladdin”) hosts this four-part “minisized” holiday house tournament-style series. The talent on display is huge, but the artists involved are miniaturists, and they vie with other such craftspeople to create the most charming miniature holiday houses, complete with teeny yet festive trimmings. Designer Genevieve Gorder and miniatures experts June Clinkscales and Dave Asling are the judges.
