Coaches: Ray Barbosa is in his third season at Executive, 53-20, and in his sixth season overall, 11841. Pat Boyle is in his 25th season at Notre Dame, 444-217.

Previous meeting: Executive won 84-75 at home on Dec.

11. Jevin Muniz had 33 points, including 4 3-pointers, and eight assists. Schenck added 24 points and 7 rebounds and Magee had 8 points and 10 rebounds, while Boyle led Notre Dame with 31 points and Carew and Galle added 16 and 13 respectively. What to expect: Notre Dame was upset by Panther Valley in last year’s district final and desperately wants its first crown since 2018 and 10th overall under Boyle. Executive is going for its third in a row and first at the 2A level. This is the matchup many wanted to see since both teams are vastly different from the first meeting in December when Bembry hadn’t enrolled at Executive and Howlett and Rickert were both out for Notre Dame. Expect a high-scoring game, perhaps the highest of any game in the tournament. The addition of Bembry gives the Raptors the extra dimension they may need to win this muchanticipated rematch.

Keith Groller’s pick: Executive 92, Notre Dame 85.
