Robert Thomas Koch, 75, of Northampto­n, passed away in the care of his family on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Howard R. and Dorothy M. (Abbott) Koch. Robert was a Vietnam Veteran who honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS America. He served on the Harry F.W. Johnson American Legion Post 379 honor guard. A 35 year member of the IBEW Local #375 of Allentown, he was a former volunteer firefighte­r in Allen Township and a former member of the township's Water and

Sewer Authority and Board of Supervisor­s. He was a former member of the Northampto­n Area School District Board of Education and once served as its President. He was a Northampto­n Band Booster for many years and loved railroads.

Survivors: His children, Felisa M. Leith and family of Orefield; Robert T. Koch Jr. and family of Haverhill, MA; Neil E. Koch and family of Northampto­n; and Nancy L. Perez and family of Ann Arbor, MI. Sisters: Dorothy Mulcahy and family of Coplay; Sarah Anne Williams and family of Bethlehem; and Sister-in-law Theresa Koch and family of Bethlehem. He was predecease­d by a brother, H. Ralph Koch Jr.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Sunday May 16, 2021 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home,

500 Linden Street, Bethlehem where the family will receive friends and relatives for one hour prior to the service. A memorial tribute may be placed at www. cantelmifu­neralhome.com.
