John D. Rossi
John D. Rossi, III, 62, CMA, CFM, CPA, CFP, MBA, of Northampton, passed away on August 3, 2021, in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 28 years to Maria (Bandle) Rossi. They celebrated their anniversary this past July 31st. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of John D. Jr. and Elizabeth (Bakley) Rossi. He attended elementary school at St. Catherine of Siena and graduated high school from Allentown Central Catholic. John attended LaSalle University for his undergraduate degree and went on to achieve his MBA from Moravian College. While living in Bensalem, he worked for Concannon Gallagher & Miller accounting firm for four years. John taught at multiple colleges while working with his father at Rossi & Company. He most recently worked as a professor at Moravian College. While teaching for Moravian, he traveled to Turkey and South Korea. John wrote numerous articles in many CPA journals and taught seminars for continuing education credits in accounting. He was the owner and operator of his home accounting business, JDR3 Vituoso Solution He was also a board member for PICPA, AICPA, and a member of Assumption-Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Northampton. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his wife, Maria, he is survived by his son, Vincent B. Rossi of Cementon; his uncle Dick and Aunt Pat Bakley; aunts, Adeline (Rossi) Fritzinger, Amelia (Rossi) Cosimana and Viola Rossi; nephew, Tyler Bandle; and cousins Tina and Mark Fritzinger, and Stewart Bakley, Jr. He was predeceased by his late uncles Bob Bakley and Stewart Bakley, Sr. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021, at AssumptionBlessed Virgin Mary R.C.C. at 2181 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067. A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Coplay, is honored to handle John’s arrangements.
