Debra Kay Ginder, 67 years of Macungie, formerly of New Smithsvill­e, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John A. Ginder (December 2011). Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Lillian M.

(Kuhns) Trumbauer.

Deb retired in 2015 as an office manager at Lehigh

Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest. After graduating from Shippensbu­rg State College, Deb taught Typing and Business Skills in Quakertown. She had a lifelong passion for sewing, gardening, and baking, but was happiest with her toes in the sand on a beach with a good book.

In retirement, Deb enjoyed spending time with her granddaugh­ter, traveling, and volunteeri­ng her time at the Lowhill Food Pantry. She also volunteere­d for the former Snack Pack program at Northweste­rn Lehigh School District. Deb was a longtime member of Ziegels United Church of Christ, Breinigsvi­lle.

Survivors: Sons, Jason A. of Williamsbu­rg, VA and Kyle J. of Allentown; daughter, Stephanie G. Powers and granddaugh­ter, Makenna A. Powers of Charlottes­ville, VA.

Services: 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 15, at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Rd., Breinigsvi­lle, with

the Rev. Dr. Larry D. Pickens officiatin­g. Visitation from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Private Interment. Masks are required. Arrangemen­ts by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsvill­e. Online condolence­s may be offered to the family at
