Debra Kay (Trumbauer) Ginder
Debra Kay Ginder, 67 years of Macungie, formerly of New Smithsville, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John A. Ginder (December 2011). Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Lillian M.
(Kuhns) Trumbauer.
Deb retired in 2015 as an office manager at Lehigh
Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest. After graduating from Shippensburg State College, Deb taught Typing and Business Skills in Quakertown. She had a lifelong passion for sewing, gardening, and baking, but was happiest with her toes in the sand on a beach with a good book.
In retirement, Deb enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, traveling, and volunteering her time at the Lowhill Food Pantry. She also volunteered for the former Snack Pack program at Northwestern Lehigh School District. Deb was a longtime member of Ziegels United Church of Christ, Breinigsville.
Survivors: Sons, Jason A. of Williamsburg, VA and Kyle J. of Allentown; daughter, Stephanie G. Powers and granddaughter, Makenna A. Powers of Charlottesville, VA.
Services: 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 15, at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Rd., Breinigsville, with
the Rev. Dr. Larry D. Pickens officiating. Visitation from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Private Interment. Masks are required. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville. Online condolences may be offered to the family at
