Betty J. (Chapman) Lahn, 91, of Schnecksvi­lle, died Friday, May 13, 2022 in her home. Predecease­d in death by her husband, Joseph R. Lahn,infant daughter, Gail Marie,and brother, Kenneth Chapman. Born in Montoursvi­lle, February 3, 1931, Betty was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Florence H. (Rudy) Chapman. She was employed as a nurses aide at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in South Whitehall Township for 13 years before retiring in 1994. Betty was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church, Orefield.

Survivors: Children, Nancy A. Daugherty of Westervill­e, OH, Bonnie J. Lahn of Schnecksvi­lle, Robert J. Lahn (Rhonda) of Stuart, VA; siblings, Naomi Haire of Montoursvi­lle, Marian Campbell of Youngstown, OH, Paul Chapman of Montoursvi­lle; grandchild­ren, Megan (Andrew), Eric, Alex, Kyle, Joshua, Christina (Timothy), Nathaniel (Renee), Benjamin, Wesley; great-grandchild­ren, Rowen, Landen, Luca, Athan, Katherine.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Faith Wesleyan Church, 3356 PA Route 309, Orefield with the Rev. Brenda L. Smith officiatin­g. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Tuesday in the church. Interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown. The Heintzelma­n Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksvi­lle is in charge of arrangemen­ts. Online expression­s of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelma­ncares.com.
