Gary F. Myles

Gary F. Myles, 73, of Salisbury Township, passed away on

Friday, June 17, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Leona (Boor) Myles. They observed their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10th. Born in Floral Park,

NY, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Mary (McCarthy) Myles.

Gary was an AP History Teacher, Department Chair, and an Assistant Athletic Director at Allentown Central Catholic High School for 18 years retiring in 2015. After retirement, he was an Adjunct Professor at Lehigh Carbon Community College. He was a graduate of Allentown Central

Catholic High School Class of 1967, St. Mary of the Plains College Class of 1971, and received his master's degree from Villanova University.

He was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Allentown, and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer and a former youth and high school coach.

Survivors: Along with wife, Leona; daughters, Lisa Myles of Bethlehem, Angela (Luce) Liberto of Bethlehem; son, Nicholas (Kjirsti) Myles of Whispering Pines, NC; grandchildren, Anna, Frank, Luke, Paul, Liam, and Bennett; sister, Margaret (Alan) Michael of DE; and brother, Philip Myles of NJ. He was predeceased by twin brother Joseph, and brothers Peter and Robert.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Thursday, June 23, 2022, at St.

Paul's R.C. Church, 920 S. 2nd St., Allentown. Viewings for family and friends will be held 6-7:30 PM Wednesday and 8:30-9:30 AM

Thursday at K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc.

46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Interment to follow the Mass at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
