21-20 win. Eachus runs for
387 yards and two TDs to help the Mountaineers reach the District 1½ Class 4A subregional championship game against unbeaten Parkland.
2002: Greg Vaughn runs for
170 yards a TD to help East Stroudsburg University secure a piece of its first PSAC East title since 1991 with a 34-7 win over Kutztown.
2002: Despite scoring a national-record 188 goals, Emmaus is denied the PIAA Class 3A field hockey title when Central Bucks West blanks the Green Hornets 1-0 in the title game. The loss snaps a 53-game winning streak for Emmaus (271), which outscored opponents 188-8 to set another national mark, while the victory by the Bucks (26-1-1) avenges a 1-0 loss to the Hornets in the 2001 title game.
