After cold Sunday, seasonal temps expected for Thanksgiving
The Lehigh Valley was downright frigid Sunday as a cold front passed through the region, bringing low temperatures and gusty winds, but seasonal temperatures will return in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
As the week continues, a warm front is expected to bring mainly sunny skies, breezy winds and higher temperatures in the low 40s Monday and upper 40s Tuesday. Nighttime temperatures will be in the 20s.
More seasonal temperatures will return by Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day. Temperatures are forecast to be in the low- to mid-50s and Thanksgiving will be dry and sunny, with some clouds in the afternoon.
The National Weather Service is predicting potentially heavy rain Friday that moves through the region quickly. Saturday will be dry and cool.
