James F. Borneman

James Frederick Borneman, 78, of Allentown, PA, passed away on November 19, 2022, with his beloved wife of 57 years,

Sandy, by his side. James, better known by Jim, was born in Allentown, PA to Elizabeth (Borneman) Engle. Jim graduated from Dieruff High School and received an Engineering degree from Lafayette College. He married Sandra Jean (Rhoda) Borneman his high school sweetheart in 1965 and had two sons James Jr. and Jeffrey whom he was very proud. He had a stellar 40+ year career as a Sales Engineering Manager working for Fuller/GATX in Bethlehem. Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed skiing. He and Sandy enjoyed attending their grandchildren’s activities and sporting events. In retirement, he kept busy delivering blood for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center of Bethlehem. Jim is survived by his wife Sandy; along with his two sons and their families; son James and Cheri Borneman of Bethlehem, PA, and son Jeff and Melissa Borneman of Perkasie, PA.; grandchildren Sydney, Jonathan, Hayley, Katherine,

and Tyler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown, PA. The family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am with a service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
