Penn State Lehigh Valley receives $3,000 grant from PPL Foundation
Penn State Lehigh Valley recently received a $3,000 grant from the PPL Foundation that will further support the campus’ mission to serve the educational needs of the region.
The PPL Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process. PSU-LV applied for the grant in February and will work with the Invent Penn State Innovation Hub’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy team to select community partners to work collectively to identify areas that are underserved with respect to entrepreneurship.
Ultimately, the group will implement new or adapt existing programs to meet the needs of these future entrepreneurs while continuing to create a community that welcomes and that fosters diversity in entrepreneurial opportunities.
