Bengals beat Chiefs again

-

Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score, Samaje Perine rushed for a seasonhigh 106 yards and the Bengals beat the visiting Chiefs 27-24 on Sunday in their first meeting since the Bengals prevailed in last season’s AFC championship game.

The Bengals (8-4), who won their fourth straight, beat the Chiefs last Jan. 2 to clinch the AFC North title, then won four weeks later in overtime — also by a 27-24 score — to reach the Super Bowl for the first time in 33 years.

With the Chiefs leading 24-20, Bengals LB Germaine Pratt stripped Trave Kelce after a catch and recovered the fumble.

Burrow, working from his own 47, then completed six of seven passes for 53 yards, finishing the drive with an 8-yard TD pass to backup running back Chris Evans that gave the Bengals the lead with 8:54 remaining.

The Chiefs (9-3) had won five straight.

Giants 20, Commanders

20: Giants K Graham Gano came up well short on a 58-yard FG attempt as time expired in OT as the NFC playoff contenders settled for a tie. The Giants (7-4-1) ended a two-game losing streak, while the visiting Commanders are unbeaten in four (3-0-1) and have only one loss in their last eight games.

Ravens 10, Broncos 9: Backup QB Tyler Huntley capped a 91-yard drive with a 2-yard TD run with 28 seconds left, and the host Ravens overcame Lamar Jackson’s knee injury in the first quarter to secure the victory. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said there’s no timetable yet for Jackson’s return, but added it’s not a season-ending injury. Vikings 27, Jets 22: Justin Jefferson’s TD catch with 8:33 left gave the Vikings enough of a lead to hang on at home. Camryn Bynum’s INT at the 1-yard line with 10 seconds left finally sealed it for the Vikings.

Eagles 35, Titans 10: Jalen Hurts strengthened his MVP bid by throwing for 380 yards and three TDs and running for another score, and A.J Brown caught two TD passes against his former team as the host Eagles moved to 11-1 for the fourth time in franchise history.

Packers 28, Bears 19: Aaron Rodgers led three fourth-quarter scoring drives, rookie WR Christian Watson took an end-around 46 yards for a TD in the closing minutes, and the Packers rallied to beat their rivals on the road. The Bears lost their sixth straight.

Lions 40, Jaguars 14: Jamaal Williams ran for his 14th TD this season and the Lions rolled to the home win. Steelers 19, Falcons 16: Kenny Pickett tossed a 17-yard TD pass to Connor Heyward, Matthew Wright kicked four FGs and the visiting Steelers won two straight games for the first time this season.

Seahawks 27, Rams 23: DK Metcalf caught an 8-yard TD pass from Geno Smith with 36 seconds left and the Seahawks earned the road win. The defending Super Bowl champs were without injured DL Aaron Donald and dropped their sixth straight.

Raiders 27, Chargers 20: Derek Carr completed two long TD passes to Davante Adams in the third quarter to rally the Raiders at home.
