Nancy Lee Fritzinger (nee Sweeney) of Orefield, PA born 1/22/1941 in Darktown, PA left this earth on 12/22/2022 at the LV Hospital in Allentown, PA just after midnight. She was the daughter of Bernice (Bonnell)

and James Sweeney. Her stepfather Bruno Schmidt (her father was buried on her

12th birthday). She was predeceased by brothers: James (Slim) and Robert (Harpo), and sisters: Patricia Smith and Sharon Sodl. She is survived by her daughter Celeine Easdon Smith of Shinglehouse, PA who was her everything, she absolutely adored her. For her 16th birthday, all Nancy wanted was a carton of cigarettes and her driver's license and she got them! She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1958 and worked at Western Electric until retirement in 1995. Nancy loved watching TV, especially Notre Dame football, documentaries, and Big Brother. She loved drinking Pepsi/ginger ale, smoking cigarettes, and just chilling out with her cat PussPuss and loved company. Her favorite songs were "Is That All There Is" by Peggy Lee and "Danny Boy"!

She was proud of her Irish heritage! She loved and was loved by her daughter and friends who were family to her, especially Polly Malyniak, Ada Morales, Chris Derhammer and her niece Johanna Smith Hineline. She loved her family, nieces, nephews and friends. You could not help but love Nancy, she was the best friend and confidante that anyone could ask for. She was non-judgemental, you could talk to her about anything and everything and always gave

great advice, if you asked for it. Nancy was a medical marvel having survived Colon Cancer with no chemo, COPD, and kidney failure for 5+ years. She always said the day you are born is marked the day that you will die whether you lead a healthy lifestyle or one like hers. She was an amazing human being and was at peace with God and everyone in her life. Nancy will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew her. Nancy requested no funeral services and will be cremated and her ashes will be buried on Celeine's land. Heaven got another Angel. May God bless her beautiful soul and God's Peace and Love to all that loved her!
