Vincent William Plaza, Jr., 85, Bethlehem,

PA, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Kirkland Village. Born March

15, 1937, in Passaic,

NJ, the only son of the late Vincent William Plaza, Sr., and Mary Puzio, “Vince” was married to Mary Ann (Jackson) Plaza with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage this past June 27th.

Vincent proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as an officer in the Military Police. He worked for the New York Stock Exchange from 1963-1993, where he was involved with floor operations during the modernizat­ion of the trading floor in 1966. From 1990-1993, Vincent served as head of the NYSE London office. Following his tenure at the NYSE, Vincent was recruited by the United States Agency for Internatio­nal Developmen­t to help Kazakhstan establish a stock exchange following its independen­ce from the Soviet Union. During his retirement, Vincent volunteere­d his time in many ways, including lectoring at church and reading for the blind.

Vincent will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Ann, children Victoria (Andrew

Finke) Plaza, Vincent (Linda) Plaza, Mary Beth (Jim) Lemon, and Jeffrey (Mary) Plaza, twelve grandchild­ren, and three great-grandchild­ren. A calling hour will be held on Friday, December

30, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020 from 10-11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Arrangemen­ts, Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in Vincent's name to the Tunnel to Towers Project or the A.S.P.C.A.
