Big move made by Pennridge
Nazareth and Saucon Valley got starters back in their lineups after missing time with injuries, but Bethlehem Catholic and Notre Dame-Green Pond repeated as District 11 Class 3A and 2A team tournament champions.
Pennridge also made school history with its first District 1 3A team title despite having only one senior starter.
Faith Christian repeated as District 1 2A gold medalist with a shutout of Bristol.

1. Bethlehem Catholic

Of note: Beat Nazareth for its 11th District 11 team tournament title, seven in Class 3A.

Of note: Beat Bristol 72-0 in the District 1 Class 2A final, then received a forfeit into the PIAA first round when District 12 champion Conwell-Egan dropped out.

This week: The PIAA Team Wrestling Championships, beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday against District 2 champion Delaware Valley in the first round.
Of note: Racked up a combined 18 pins against Emmaus and Northampton before losing 33-25 to Bethlehem Catholic in the District 11 Class 3A team tournament final. Routed District 12 runner-up St. Joseph’s Prep in Monday’s PIAA preliminary round.
4. Notre Dame-Green Pond
