Response: It’s important to put families first to ensure all parents have the right to know what curriculums are being taught. All children have the right to privacy and the most fundamental right to make sure all children are safe at their schools. School safety should be a high priority for all residents and parents deserve to know their children are safe. www.facebook.com/PaulDeebelforSLSD

Education: BS Chemical Engineering, Bucknell University

Occupation: Sales Manager Qualifications: Community member active in parent and student advocacy groups.

Response: We need to ensure that all students are getting the attention and resources they need to succeed academically. We need to make sure the curriculum is focused on the academic needs of students without the interjection of politics and divisive ideas. Our classrooms need to a place where parents feel safe that their students are being educated, not indoctrinated.

Qualifications: Great at organizing and simplifying information. A member of the community for over 30yrs, I can relate to the needs it faces

Response: Hiding information about children from parents and keeping the district financially responsible. Children and parents need to be brought together in all manners of life by better use of the tools already in place. Taxes need to be the last resort to financial issues. Better planning and care of projects needs to happen to make sure budgets are met.
