A hotel in Lower Nazareth Township was recently sold for $27.3 million to a Lancaster real estate company.

The double-branded Home2 Suites by Hilton and Tru by Hilton at 3882 Eastgate Blvd. was purchased by Eastgate Boulevard LLC on Dec. 11, according to Northampton County real estate records. The hotel is near the intersection of Routes 33 and 248.

Eastgate Boulevard LLC shares an address with Lancaster-based High Real Estate Group. According to its website, High Real Estate provides development, brokerage, property management and tenant care services for a portfolio that includes hotels, shopping centers, business parks and apartment communities in six states.

High also manages the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Upper Saucon Township.

The seller is Central Pa Equities 26, which is run by York-based Springwood Hospitality, Hilton’s development and management company.

The hotel opened in summer 2020 during the COVID pandemic. Home2 Suites and Tru are in separate wings of the building and share the lobby. It has 149 rooms.

The Tru brand is a mid-price chain aimed at millennials, offering vibrant-colored lobbies, alcoves where guests can work, a gourmet snack station, an expanded breakfast offering and the ability to buy single-serve beer and wine.

Home2Suites are extended stay hotels that feature all-suite rooms with kitchens, free breakfast in the lobby, fitness room, laundry and outdoor patios with grills.

Meanwhile, Springwood is building another hotel down the street, at 3774 Eastgate Blvd. A SpringHill Suites by Marriott, which will feature 113 suites on four floors, is scheduled to open this summer.

Springwood is also getting ready to open a Fairfield Inn & Suites at 2401 Emrick Blvd. in Bethlehem Township. It is also slated to open this summer.
