Stephen "Steve" Ross

Stephen “Steve” Ross, 68, of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania passed away on January 3,

2024 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Steve was born to Gene and Peggy Ross on February 12, 1955 and grew up in Bay City, Michigan. He graduated from John Glenn High School in 1973 before having a successful career in the Pet Food, Feed & Grain, and BioFuels Industries.

Through the years, Steve enjoyed spending his free time in the great outdoors including hunting and fishing, playing golf, and riding his bike. On weekends, he loved watching the Detroit Lions, weathering the highs and lows of each season with unwavering loyalty. He was an avid learner, lover of Sudoku, and a self-proclaimed wine sommelier, specializing in the reds.

Steve was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania; his children Heather Fears (Rick), of Bartlett, Tennessee, Priscilla Smith (Bennett), of Lyon, France, and Katie Ross (Jake Kincer), of Washington D.C.; his grandchildren Bailey Hinson, Luca Long, Brad Fears, Desi Smith and Remy Smith; his brother Gene (Jodi), of Alger, Michigan; his sisters Vici Fetter of Bay City, Michigan and Cindy Bryant (Steven), of Decatur, Alabama; many cousins, nieces, nephews; his dog Holly; and countless friends.

His family wishes to extend a special thanks to the dedicated staff of Bristol House Memory Care, who became part of the Ross family.

As we grieve the loss of Steve, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived. A memorial service to honor and remember Steve will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 11:30 am at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N.
