Jacqueline “Jackie” Gawlikowsk­i, 87, of Green Acres Drive in Allentown, PA, died on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, with her family by her side. She was born on May 19, 1936, in France, and came to America at the age of thirteen. Jackie was employed by Champion Spark Plug (Known as Hellertown Manufactur­ing) for many years until its closing in 1982. She later worked at various other companies throughout the Lehigh Valley until her retirement. Jackie was a devoted Catholic who took her faith seriously and would attend Mass regularly at

St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was a hard worker and her love for gardening and landscapin­g was reflected in the many flower beds and gardens that surrounded her home. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends and their gardens. She loved to go to the casino and take long walks throughout her neighborho­od and talk to people along the way and for many years she spent the winter months in Florida with Bill.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Joseph J. Gawlikowsk­i Jr. and his wife Jill (Davies) of Center Valley, PA, her granddaugh­ter, Megan Gawlikowsk­i of Easton, PA, and great-grand dog, “Porter”. She is also survived by a stepbrothe­r and a stepsister in Les Bray, France. She was predecease­d by an older brother, Wiadyslaw Rokosz, in France, and long-time companion, William Romanow, who passed away in 2011.

All are invited to a viewing on Saturday, February 24, from 10-11:30 am in the Falk

Funeral Home, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown, with a Catholic Prayer Service beginning at 11:30am. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
