Tributes to Bruce Springsteen and Pink Floyd, and Flogging Molly
The top 3 Lehigh Valleyarea concerts this week are action-packed with two tributes to legendary rock bands, and a Celtic punk/ folk septet.
First is the “World’s #1 Tribute to Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band,” pulling out all the stops to create a memorable show for fans of The Boss during a two-nighter at the Sellersville Theater. Next is a group that replicates the live Pink Floyd experience playing career-spanning sets complimented with a mind-blowing video and light show.
Last, a band out of LA who have been playing both Celtic punk and folk music interchangeably since 1995 come to Jim Thorpe.

Meet the band: A sevenpiece Celtic punk/folk band, Flogging Molly formed in 1995 as the house band for Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles. Since that time, they’ve shared the stage with bands as varied as The Chieftains and Motörhead, cutting through different scenes and genres seamlessly. Their latest album, “Anthem,” was recorded in only 14 days by the legendary Steve Albini, taking them back to their roots doing what they do best.
