Terese Anne Heidenwolf, 59, of Macungie, PA, passed away at home on

March 6, 2024. Born on January 18, 1965, in Camp Hill, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Albert and Martha Heidenwolf. Terese was the valedictorian of Trinity High School’s class of 1983. Her decision to attend the University of Notre Dame brought extreme joy to her father, a devoted life-long Notre Dame fan. After graduating with Highest Honors from the University of Notre Dame, she furthered her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Michigan. Driven by her deep love for literature, Terese pursued a rewarding career as a librarian, dedicating over three decades to Lafayette College’s Skillman Library including in the roles of Director, Research and Instructional Services and acting Dean of the Library.

Terese loved traveling with family, especially the annual trips to Stone Harbor, NJ and Hilton Head, SC, along with memorable trips to the Grand Canyon, Kauai, Italy, and Nantucket. Additionally, Terese enjoyed her yearly excursions with her dear friends from Farley Hall at Notre Dame creating countless unforgettable memories. Terese found contentment in tending to her flowers, thoughtfully planning her garden each winter, and generously sharing the bounty with others during the summer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Heidenwolf, and is survived by her mother, Martha Heidenwolf, and her sisters Diane Beauchner and Susan Weaver, and brother-inlaw David Weaver. Terese had a very special and individualized relationship with each of her nieces and nephews: Stephen Weaver (Caroline), Elizabeth Deo (Michael), Lauren Korkidas (Theo), Megan Beauchner, Adam Beauchner, and Edward Weaver. She was always there to give them comfort, advise, and encouragement to follow their passions and dreams. “T.T.” found great joy in spending time with her grandnephews, Beckett Weaver and Cooper Weaver, and grandniece, Gia Anne Deo.

Terese will be forever missed by her immediate and extended family, her Notre Dame family, her colleagues at Lafayette College, and her many friends.
