Samuel J. Pantoni,

83, of Whitehall, PA. formally of Summit Hill, PA. passed away peacefully Monday, March 18, 2024, at

St. Luke’s Hospice Bethlehem, PA. He was the son of the late Amedio and Angelina (Rutch) Pantoni. He was the husband of Nancy (Viti) Pantoni with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Sam was a 1958 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. He worked for Mack Trucks Allentown, PA. for 30 years before retiring in 1988, as a committee man for UAW677. Sam was an avid sports fan and was a basketball coach for CYO league at St. Lawrence School in Catasauqua, PA. He was a lifetime member of the Fullerton Fire Company, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Men of Malvern. In addition, Sam was an avid singer. He sang at many weddings and funerals throughout the valley. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving along with his wife Nancy are his son Samuel A. Pantoni and wife Cherylanne of Whitehall, two grandchild­ren, Brittany, and Zachary Pantoni, one stepgrands­on, four step-great-grandchild­ren, brothers Amedio Pantoni and Anthony Pantoni and wife Josephine Pantoni and several nieces and nephews. He was predecease­d by his brother, Richard and sister, Constance (Pantoni) Kistler. There will be calling period on Thursday, March 21, 2024, 6-8pm and 10-11am Friday, March 22 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. 18032. Funeral service to follow Friday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Resurrecti­on Cemetery in Allentown, PA.
