The Land of Ozz, Garden State Radio and Start Making Sense

The top 3 Lehigh Valleyarea concerts this week are loaded with tribute acts ready to showcase just why they’re the No. 1 cover band in their realm.

First, follow the yellow brick road to The Land of Ozz, a Philadelph­ia band paying tribute to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. Next, New Jersey’s own Garden State Radio take on popular hits from the ‘50s to current favorites, bringing the dance party to Musikfest Café.

And last, Start Making Sense pay tribute to Talking Heads, David Byrne and more with an added live horn band for only a few select shows (including this one!)

Their interactiv­e performanc­es get crowds on their feet, dancing and singing along to their favorite hits. Their blend of songs, multiple singers, and years of experience keep fans coming back for more time after time.

Meet the band: A tribute band faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads through all eight of their studio albums. The band unleashes a live performanc­e that fully encompasse­s the live Talking Heads experience complete with a front man who so closely resembles David Byrne, you’d think it was the man himself.
