The British Invasion Years, Dionne Warwick and Get the Led Out
The Top 3 Lehigh Valleyarea concerts this week are loaded with nostalgia, as we take a trip down memory lane to celebrate some of the most inspirational music from some of the most formative years in music history.
First, we visit the ‘60s, when the British Invasion took the U.S. by storm, leading to a bunch of suit-andtie mop-top acts spouting up in every corner of the country. Then, we take a stop with Dionne Warwick, who, after being discovered by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in 1961, recorded 18 consecutive Top 100 singles.
Last, we have a tribute to Led Zeppelin, nailing songs from deep within the Zeppelin canon with notefor-note renditions.
