Victor L. Espitia Mary Lu Hamrick Lorin G. Knieriemen Anna Marie Witte

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — Anna Marie Witte, 84, of Englewood , Fla., formerly of Amherst, passed away quietly on Friday August 24, 2012 at her Charlotte County residence with her family by her side.

Born on July 25, 1928 in Cokeburg, Pa., to the late Alfonso and Jenny (Delasandro) Lauricia, she moved to Englewood ten years ago.

A loving wife, mother and homemaker for her family she was a member of the Red Hat Society, member of the V.F.W. and an avid golfer and attended Englewood East Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son Jeffrey Carroll; sister Marion Whitaker; brother Samuel Lauricia and a grandson James Carroll III.

Survivors include her loving husband of forty-one years, Rudolph L. Witte, formerly of Amherst, and children James (Karen) Carroll, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Judy ( Walter) Cipo, of Lorain, Jennie Granese, of Wilmington, Mass., Jack Carroll, of Lorain, Kenneth (Robin) Witte, of Wakeman, Ohio and Jeanne (Ken) Towers, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; sisters JoAnn Clement, of Victorvill­e, Calf., Frances Monteparte, of Greensburg, Pa., Vera Krukemeier, of Ormand Beach, Fla., Josephine Davidson, of Elyria, Ohio, Sandra Woods, of Lorain, Ohio. 15 grandchild­ren, 15 great-grandchild­ren and one great-great-grandson.

A memorial service will take place Saturday Sept. 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelica­l Free Church, 46485 Middle Ridge Rd., Amherst, Ohio with Pastor Fleagle officiatin­g.

Private burial at Ridge Hill cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributi­ons be made to Trinity E. Free Church.
