LELA Candidates Night slated for Tuesday, October 7

- Submitted by Lake Erie Landlord Association

If you want to find out what these candidates running for office plan on doing for Northeast Ohio you cannot afford to miss this event tomorrow night.

Free and open to the public, the Lake Erie Landlord Association will be hosting a Candidates Night held on October 7, 2014, at 7 p.m. at the Elyria Ramada Inn.

Several candidates will be attending and participating in this event.

They say “All Politics is Local” and this year’s issues could not produce more evidence of this.

We all know that the economy has hit us hard, and that the one thing we need more than ever is JOBS. It seems like more people are receiving assistance than working, and it just keeps getting worse.

What are our State and Federal Congressional Candidates doing right now to serve the constituents of this area to improve our economy? How will they work to stop our jobs from being shipped overseas?

Many communities have shortfalls in their budget and raising taxes is not always the answer. How will these public officials work to cut expenses and do what is right? These are just a few of the many questions the residents of the Great Lakes Region have. It is more important than ever to be an informed voter.

Meetings like this are just one of the many benefits of being a LELA Member. Our legislative committee keeps the members informed of local issues, city council decisions, and ordinances that directly affect our businesses. LELA has become a recognized and active force in enacting ben- eficial legislation in our member’s communities. We need answers, we need to be informed of what issues we face and most importantly, who we vote for.

Take advantage of this great opportunity and come learn more about the Lake Erie Landlord Association.

We encourage you to attend this meeting, which is FREE and open to the public. This event will be held at the Elyria Ramada by Midway Mall. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
