Suspect sought in relation to Midview Crossing shooting
Warrants have been issued for the arrest of two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting of an Elyria man at Midview Crossing Apartments, 1864 Middle Ave., on Sept. 30.
Terrell L. McCullum, 29, has active warrants through the Elyria Police Department for one count of attempted murder, one count of aggravated robbery and four counts of kidnapping, according to Capt. Christopher Costantino. All of the charges McCullum faces are felonies.
Jermaine Edward Witherspoon McCullum Jr., 21, has active warrants for one count of aggravated robbery and four counts of kidnapping.
Costantino said both Terrell and Jermaine McCullum are still at large
and should be considered armed and dangerous. Terrell McCullum’s last known address was 3513 Dawning Ave. in Cleveland.
About 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30, masked gunmen attempted to rob an Elyria man at his apartment at Midview Crossing. Costantino previously said three suspects wearing masks entered the unit and at least one was armed with a gun.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for treatment.
Costantino said a woman and a few children also were in the house when the break-in occurred.
