Pastor, prophetess welcomed: Point of Grace Ministries will host Pastor Darrell and Prophetess VaNessa Young at 11 a.m., July 30, at Point of Grace , 6892 Lake Avenue, Elyria. There will be no worship services at Point of Grace Ministries on July 30. Indoor picnic: St. Anthony Senior Sociables will host the next meeting at 12:30 p.m. July 20, in the Social Hall at 1305 East Erie Ave. This will be the indoor picnic and picnic food will be served. CAVE QUEST: Lorain Faith UMC, 2201 Reid Ave., Lorain, will host CAVE QUEST Vacation Bible School, 6 to 8 p.m., July 17-19 at the church. Elyria, will host a Free Community Senior Lunch Bunch from noon to 1:30 p.m., the second Tuesday of every month Come enjoy a free lunch and speaker offering information to seniors in our community. For information call 440324-1202. Free day camp: A weeklong free day camp will be hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church, 3747 Liberty Ave., (next to NAPA) Vermilion, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24-28. The week combines the best of outdoor summer camp, for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade, without having to leave home. Scholarship luncheon: St. Ann Lodge Br. 114 FCSLA will host the annual scholarship luncheon and monthly meeting at 1 p.m. July 16. The event will be at the American Slovak Club 2915 Broadway. Public invited to picnic: St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 2711 W. 40th St. Lorain, will host a picnic from 5 to 9 p.m., July 15. There will be music and dancing with Ed Klimczak, children’s games, corn hole and a 50/50 raffle. There will be cabbage rolls, sausage and kraut, cabbage and noodles, desserts and beverages for purchase. The event is open to the public.
