In victories against Lakewood and North Ridgeville last week, Dregalla was 60-for-70 in attacking with 40 kills. She also had 13 service points, three aces, 11 digs, and 2 blocks.

Engle helped the Clippers to a dismantling of Painesville Harvey with a 208-yard, three touchdown performance on 25 carries. He also added a two-point conversion.

Groppe, a regional qualifier last year, finished fifth at the Avon Lake Early Bird Invitational, clocking in at 19:31.7, a new personal record.

Hurd was nearly perfect for the Sailors against Brookside, posting a stateline of 13-for-16 passing for 145 yards and four touchdowns. He added a 65-yard pick-six on defense.
