Ashlee Aliff
BROOKSIDE, FRESHMAN >> SOFTBALL, CATCHER On the field: Aliff made an impact both in the batters’ box and behind the plate for the Cardinals. She was 5-for-10 with a triple, three RBI and three runs scored in four games last week. Defensively, the freshman caught two runners stealing and picked off another two.

FIRELANDS, JUNIOR >> BASEBALL, UTILITY On the field: Firelands was 5-0 last week, and Brill is a big reason why. The junior went a combined 11-for-16 with two home runs, two triples, three doubles, 14 RBI, eight runs scored and eight stolen bases.
Brianna Carr
OLMSTED FALLS, SENIOR >> LACROSSE, DEFENSE On the field: Carr helped the Bulldogs lock down on defense in three games last week. The senior had 20 ground balls to go with two interceptions and four caused turnovers.
Kasey McGraw
AMHERST, JUNIOR >> SOFTBALL, SHORT STOP On the field: McGraw was a catalyst for the Comets last week. In six games, the junior was 12-for-20 with five runs scored, nine RBI and four stolen bases. Amherst was 4-2 on the week.
Matt Pettegrew
COLUMBIA, SOPHOMORE >> TRACK AND FIELD On the track: Pettegrew took first in the 3,200 (10:22.71) and 1,600 (4:53.74) at the Joe King Lutheran West Invitational. He also took first in both events at a tri-meet against Brookside and Lutheran West.
Izzy Reich
NORTH OLMSTED, FRESHMAN >> SOFTBALL, PITCHER/OUTFIELD On the field: In four games, Reich did not disappoint as the freshman was 7-for-14 with two doubles and two triples for a slugging percentage of .929. She scored four runs, too.
Jordyn Shawver
BROOKSIDE, JUNIOR >> TRACK AND FIELD On the track: At the Margaretta Invitational, Shawver took third in the 100 hurdles, anchored the winning 4x100 relay and won the 300 hurdles, breaking her own school record with a time of 49.6 — the first time she has broken 50 seconds in her career.
Chloe Simko
NORTH RIDGEVILLE, SOPHOMORE >> SOFTBALL, PITCHER/FIRST BASEMAN On the field: In a pair of wins over Avon Lake and North Olmsted, Simko was perfect at the plate, going 7-for-7 with two doubles and a triple. She also threw four innings against Avon Lake to pick up the win.

ROCKY RIVER, JUNIOR >> BASEBALL, PITCHER On the field: White gained wins against Parma and Bay in complete game efforts. He allowed a combined seven hits and three earned runs, while striking out 13. He had a 1.50 ERA.
