• U.S. Air Force Airman Destiny D. Patchin graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Patchin is the daughter of Jackie Babb of Elyria, and Jeff Patchin of Wakeman.

She is a 2017 graduate of New London High School.

Benko is the daughter of Aimee K. and Jason M. Benko of Elyria.

She is a 2016 graduate of Elyria High School.

Palacios is the son of Lisa and grandson of Marybeth Williams of Lorain, and son-in-law of Desi Facemire of Dille, W.Va.

He is a 2010 graduate of Southview High School, Lorain.
