Everything bad is not Trump’s fault

-

I’ve been around since Herbert Hoover was president. Never, in my lifetime have I seen the opposition, in lock step with the media, so vehemently attack a president as they are doing now.

No matter what bad happens, it is the fault of Donald Trump.

When some follower of Bernie Sanders shot Steve Scalise, well, that was not Bernie’s fault, that was just some nut job (and yes, I agree, it was just some nut job). But when a Trump supporter mails a bunch of bombs to Democrats, well, that’s Trumps fault?

And when anything good happens, well, that’s just a left over from Barack Obama?

That’s not just a double standard, that’s just no standard at all on the part of the media.

The most recent I have seen is the editorial by Jonah Goldberg on 10/26.

The Saudis killed Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi citizen, in their embassy in Turkey.

Certainly a bad thing, but whose fault?

Why, according to Goldberg, Trump let the Saudis do it.

According to this kind of logic, when the Russians kill someone, it is because Trump let Putin do it? Same for China or North Korea?

According to Goldberg, all this bad stuff occurs because Trump lets them think they can “get away with something so heinous.”

We don’t rule the world no matter who our president is.

Goldberg starts his hate speech by writing “The biggest mistake the Trump administration made...”

The biggest mistake the Morning Journal keeps making is to print this garbage that spews from the pen of Goldberg who claims to be a Conservative, but is just a NeverTrumper, RINO hack. Don Race New London
