TV show to fo­cus on Amy Mi­hal­je­vic mur­der

new se­ries on In­ves­ti­ga­tion Dis­cov­ery is shin­ing a light on a mur­der that shook the area nearly 30 years ago.

An Elyria man was in­dicted Dec. 7 on charges con­nected to a shoot­ing at Wilkes Villa apart­ment com­plex in Oc­to­ber.

Cur­tis N. Mack, 19, is fac­ing charges of at­tempted mur­der, two counts of felo­nious as­sault and a sin­gle count of im­prop­erly dis­charg­ing a firearm at/into a habi­ta­tion or school safety zone in con­nec­tion to the Oct. 6 shoot­ing on Hodge Court in Elyria.

Po­lice said a man was shot at near the com­plex and was flown by med­i­cal he­li­copter to MetroHealth Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Cleve­land with non-life threat­en­ing in­juries. Mack is in the Lorain County Jail on a $45,000 bond. He will be ar­raigned Dec. 13 in Lorain County Com­mon Pleas Court.
