West Shore Dems throw holiday party

The seventh annual West Shore Democrats Holiday Party will take place at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 11, at the Western Cuyahoga Lodge, FOP Hall 25, 26145 Center Ridge Road in Westlake.

Parking and entrance are in the rear of building.

Attendees whose last name begins with A-H are asked to bring a side dish; those beginning with I-P should bring a salad; and those beginning with Q-Z are asked to bring a dessert.

Entrees will be provided, as well as beverages, according to a news release.

Attendees also are asked to bring an unwrapped item that can be auctioned for charity.

Proceeds will go to Wags 4 Warriors, a nonprofit organization that trains and provides service dogs to veterans at no cost to the veteran. Organizers also will collect nonperishable food items to deliver to St. Hermann’s.
