Three men shot on East 28th Street

Lorain Police officers were dispatched to three men who were shot about 1:53 p.m. Jan. 13 on the 1600 block of East 28th Street.

Officers found a white 52-year-old male, a black 57-year-old male and white 35-year-old male with gunshot wounds, according to a news release from the Lorain Police Department.

A vehicle suspected to be involved was stopped by police shortly after the shooting and two males, ages 22-years-old and 40-yearsold, were taken into custody, the release said.

Several suspected weapons and evidence were confiscate­d, the release said.

The three men who were shot were transporte­d to Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain for treatment, the release said.

According to ambulance sources, they are in serious condition.
