Archival Society meets Jan. 14

The Vermilion Area Archival Society will meet at 7 p.m., Jan. 14, in the community room of the Ritter Public Library, 5680 Liberty Ave.

This is the Archival Society’s annual business meeting and is open to the public. The slate of officers will be announced, dues may be paid and suggestions for programming and speakers will be welcomed, according to a news release.

The public and Archival Society members are encouraged to attend and bring their questions and ideas.

There also will be an update on efforts to put collection and information on-line through the library’s website, the release stated.
