PTA plan event in Avon

The public is invited to join Avon and Avon Lake Early Childhood PTAs for an evening with area preschools, day cares, children’s activities and camps Jan. 17.

This free event will run from 7-8:30 p.m. at Avon Heritage North Elementary Cafe, 35575 Detroit Road in Avon, and is geared for parents/caregivers with children ages infant to 6 years old in the Avon and Avon Lake area, according to a news release.

Attendees can learn more about what the early childhood PTAs have to offer plus meet preschools, day cares and other children’s activities. Prospective members to both organizations are welcome to join this evening at prorated membership rates.

Avon Lake Early Childhood PTA is a family organization providing educational and social activities for parents, caregivers and children from birth through kindergarten in Avon and the surrounding communities, the release stated.
