Two hospitalized after head-on crash on Interstate 90
Police are investigating a Feb. 11 head-on crash on Interstate-90 in Sheffield Village that sent both drivers to the hospital.
Officers arrived on scene at 2:12 a.m. for the crash near the Abbe Road overpass, according to Sheffield Village police Chief Larry Bliss.
The accident occurred when a vehicle, traveling east, ended up in the westtravel lane and hit an oncoming vehicle head-on, Bliss said.
Both drivers were taken to St. John Westshore in Westlake with serious injuries, and one drive was extricated from his vehicle by the Sheffield Village Fire Department, he said.
No further information is being given out as the Police Department continues to investigate and notify the families, Bliss said.
