• Clippers: DH Bobby Bradley was 3-for-4 with two solo home runs as Triple-A Columbus (40-28) beat host Lehigh Valley, 3-1. Bradley has 22 home runs, 46 RBI and a .975 OPS. First baseman Brandon Barnes accounted for Columbus’ other run with a solo homer, his 14th. The Clippers struck out 12 times and were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position. Starter Michael Peoples (4-3) struck out seven in seven innings.

• RubberDuck­s: Visiting Portland swept a doublehead­er with Double-A Akron, 4-0 and 6-3. The Seadogs held Akron to four hits in the first game. In the second game, left fielder Connor Marabell doubled and hit a solo home run for Akron (34-34).

• Hillcats: Visiting Wilmington beat advanced Single-A Lynchburg (3235), 6-5, in 10 innings. Hillcats pitcher Yapson Gomez balked in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning. In the bottom of the 10th, the Hillcats advanced a runner to third, but a double play and a groundout ended the game. Pinch-hitter Gavin Collins hit a two-run double in the ninth inning to help force extra innings.

• Captains: Host Fort Wayne’s Tucupita Marcano singled in the game-winning run in the ninth inning, lifting the TinCaps past SingleA Lake County, 4-3. The Captains (40-29) had rallied with three runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game. Henry Pujols had two hits, including an RBI triple.

• Scrappers: Short-season Single-A Mahoning Valley (2-1) hit four home runs on the way to a 9-7 victory over visiting Batavia. George Valera (two-run), Brayan Rocchio (two-run), Raynel Delgado (solo) and Jonathan Engelmann (solo) each went deep for the Scrappers. Bryan Lavastida also had a three-run double.
