Little Gym of Avon’s Katie Tomicic attends reunion conference
The Little Gym’s recent Reunion conference attracted an international group of business owners and key personnel, including local entrepreneur Katie Tomicic of The Little Gym of Avon. The theme for this year’s event, held July 14-17 at the Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, was “The Power of YOU,” emphasizing the value and power each individual brings to The Little Gym franchise system.
“The annual Reunion is a must-do event on our calendar,” said Tomicic. “It’s a once-a-year opportunity to learn best practices from top performers in our franchise family and to network and share ideas with our peers. This year’s Reunion theme was a strong reminder that when we work together as an organization – as business owners, employees, or corporate management — our ability to evolve and grow our individual business and The Little Gym brand overall is limitless.”
According to Alex Bingham, president and CEO of The Little Gym, July is a critical time for the organization as franchises worldwide prepare for Enrollment Season.
“The 2019 Reunion program was designed specifically to help individual franchisees solidify their growth plans, ignite their teams’ passion for the brand, and set each location up for its strongest year yet,” Bingham said. “Reunion sessions included strategies to increase profitability, drive new enrollments, and enhance team culture. As in year’s past, we offered designated sessions for owners, general managers, directors, and team members to tailor content for each specific audience.”
“This year’s Reunion event successfully focused on enhancing both individual strengths and the strength of The Little Gym franchise system to collectively drive the brand forward,” said Tomicic.
“As we move into the 2019-2020 business year, I know that my team, my business, and the families we serve will benefit from the collective knowledge and passion of my fellow attendees. We are looking forward to another year of ‘Serious Fun’ helping Avonarea children develop physical and social skills as a foundation for healthy habits and confidence in their own abilities.”
