LCADA Way announces Tom Arnold as speaker for dinner
Actor, screenwriter and comedian Tom Arnold is the keynote speaker at this year’s The LCADA Way Pearls of Wisdom Annual Benefit and Recognition Dinner on Oct. 24.
“We are very excited to have TomArnold as our keynote speaker,” said Thomas D. Stuber, president and CEO of The LCADA Way in a news release. “His personal struggles and story of addiction triumph and recovery will be a great addition to our gala.”
Over 17 years sober, Arnold will share his experiences and insights on overcoming addiction issues, always with humor, a skill he finds essential to his recovery, the release said.
The LCADA Way Pearls of Wisdom Annual Benefit and Recognition Dinner honors individuals and organizations who help those impacted by drug, alcohol and gambling addiction, the release said.
Winner of the 2019 Best Charitable Event for Lorain County, this year’s program includes live and silent auctions, award honorees Dr. Florencio and Lily Yuzon and Rob and Katarina Levit of Levit Jewelers and master of ceremony Hollie Strano of WKYC-TV.
Due to last year’s sellout, and demand for more tickets, the event will be held at the LaCentre Conference & Banquet Facility, 25777 Detroit Road in Westlake, according to the release.
Individual tickets for the event are $115.
Proceeds also help individuals who cannot afford help or do not have insurance to receive treatment.
