The opening highlighted the newly designed cafe and market which has a focus on fresh food.

In the new gas station, a full kitchen is available and specializes in made-freshto-order meals, snacks and beverages, said GetGo spokesperson Jannah Jablonowski.

“We have a focus on fresh foods and taking the cons out of convenience,” Jablonowski said. “We want to make sure that we’re providing healthy, affordable meal solutions that they can enjoy and feel good about giving to their families.”

Items range from antibiotic-free chicken sandwiches, burgers and breakfast wraps to specialty coffee, milkshakes and smoothies.

New menu additions are featured regularly, such as Steaktember with juicy steak burritos and subs.

According to a news release from GetGo, customers visiting the new location can register for a gift card giveaway from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sept. 18 and Sept. 19.

In total, $5,000 in GetGo gift cards, including one $2,500 winner, will be awarded.

“We are here to be your neighbor, and it’s so important to us that we engage with the community,” Jablonowski said.

Along with gift card draws, the business donated $5,000 each to Elyria High School and Elyria Catholic High School.

Elyria High will use the money to provide school supplies and other items to students in need.

Elyria Catholic’s donation will go to renovating a gymnasium into a performing arts center.

“Giving back to the communities that we serve is a central point of who we are at GetGo,” Jablonowski said. “It’s something that we love to do, and we’re so fortunate to do so.

“It’s so important to let the community know that when we open a new store, we want to be invested in their community.”
