Police investigate shots fired at house in Lorain
Lorain police are trying to determine who fired shots early Aug. 27 at a New Mexico Avenue house, according to a police report.
About 12:28 a.m., a resident said she was inside watching television when she heard two gun shots and saw two projectiles come through the outside wall of the home, over the chair her son was sitting in and hit a kitchen cabinet, the report said. No one inside was hit.
The woman told police she suspected two other women who were at the house the day before causing a disturbance as the culprits, the report said.
Officers found two bullet holes through the front of the residence.
