3 arrested in shooting in South Lorain

Three suspects were arrested Aug. 29 in connection with a shooting in South Lorain, according to a news release from the Lorain Police Department.

According to a post on the Police Department’s Facebook page, the shooting took place in the evening and involved shots fired into a house with adults and children inside. No one was injured. Officers in the area located a vehicle matching the description of the car resulting in the three arrests.

Following a search of the vehicle, officers recovered two loaded firearms, and a small amount of drugs.

“Great job by LPD nightshift Team 6, and all who continue to risk their lives serving our residents and taking an active role in decreasing the violence on our streets,” the post said.
