Ella Grode
AVON LAKE>>GIRLS SOCCER SOPHOMORE>>FORWARD
On the pitch: Scored the first goal in a 1-0 win over Louisville. Scored both goals in a 2-1win over Westlake, including the match-winner with 6minutes remaining on a line drive in the upper corner. Has a team-best five goals for unbeaten Shoregals (3-0-0). Off the court: Favorite team is PSG and favorite school subjects are English and sciences.
Laken Voss AMHERST>>VOLLEYBALL SENIOR>>OUTSIDE HITTER
On the court: In four matches, had 80 kills, including 26against North Ridgeville and 17in two sets against Brunswick. Also had 10 blocks, 51 digs, five aces and 52 serve-receives.
Off the court: In the spring, Voss play boys tennis because girls tennis is in the fall, and she plays volleyball in the fall. Favorite team is the Browns. Favorite television show is “The Office” and favorite movie is “Space Jam.” Will attend Cleveland State University to study mechanical engineering. Undecided if she will play volleyball there yet.
Andrew Snead
NORTH RIDGEVILLE>>CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE
On the course: At the SWC Preview, lowered his personal record by nearly 8 minutes from last year. His PR last year was 30:20. On Aug. 28, he ran a 22:44, putting him in line to score for the varsity in future meets.
Off the course: Some hobbies are skateboarding and cooking and watching movies. Likes being a part of a team because they are there for you and they help motivate you. Joined cross country to stop being lazy (and to be part of a team).
Tommy Bebie
ROCKY RIVER>>FOOTBALL SENIOR>>LINEBACKER/RUNNING BACK
On the field: A Wake Forest linebacker commit, Bebie ran for 137yards and four touchdowns in a win against Firelands. Bebie also recorded six tackles and four solo tackles.
Off the field: Bebie is one of five kids and is the middle child. Favorite sports memory was his sophomore year when his brothers Owen, Johnny and Tommy were all playing varsity at the same time. A hobby of Bebie’s is to go paddle boarding a lot during the summer. A big Cleveland Browns fan. Listens to all types of genres of music and likes any sort of music.
Madeleine Finton COLUMBIA>>CROSS COUNTRY SENIOR
On the course: Won the Keystone Ice Breaker in 19:33.6. Took second at the Seneca East Tiger Classic in a schoolrecord 19:07.
Off the course: Favorite sports memories are winning LC8track MVP, winning team championship in cross country, making All-Ohio in track, and becoming a two-time All-American in track. Hobbies are skiing, jet skiing and hiking. Favorite subjects are math and science.

On the court: In two matches, totaled 35digs, 22assists and was 41-44on serves recieved.
Off the course: Favorite volleyball memory was qualifying for nationals in 2017. Favorite school subject is TV productions. Favorite food is lobster tails. Favorite movie is Ratatouille. Favorite show is “Gossip Girl.” Favorite musical artist is Fleetwood Mac. Favorite teams are the Browns and Ohio State.

On the field: Carried 23 times for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Made three tackles and had one fumble recovery.
Maddie Stout VERMILION>>VOLLEYBALL JUNIOR>>OUTSIDE HITTER
On the court: Against Hurton, had 16 kills, one ace, 19 digs, two solo blocks and one block-assist.
Off the court: Favorite sports memory is listening to a “Pitch Perfect” song with the team in the locker room and singing and dancing to it. Favorite food is a quesadilla, favorite school subject is math and favorite sport to watch is basketball.
