Avon Lake: 2 adults, 2 children found dead

Authorities are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in Avon Lake after two adults and two children were found dead with gunshot wounds on Sept. 7, according to a release from the Avon Lake Police Department.

Avon Lake police were dispatched to an address on English Turn for a welfare check at 1:18 p.m. where the four deceased individuals were located.

The incident is currently under investigation by Avon Lake police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

The Lorain County Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene.
