Mercy hosting job fairs

MERCY HEALTH >> Lorain is hosting two upcoming job fairs — one that will feature openings for a wide variety of health care positions while the other will focus on new 2021 graduates looking for a residency position, according to a news release.

The first event is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 14, at Mercy Health — Lorain Hospital, 3700 Kolbe Road in Lorain, the release said.

Hospital mangers from both Mercy Health — Lorain Hospital and Mercy Health — Allen Hospital will be on site to interview and answer any questions candidates may have.

Mercy Health offers competitive wages and benefits, including tuition reimbursement for fulltime and part-time positions, paid time off, medical, dental and vision, sign on bonuses and more, the release said.

Walk-ins are welcome but all attendees are encouraged to RSVP to arishawilliams@mercy.com.

Another hiring event targeting new nursing graduates will take place from 1-6 p.m., Sept. 22, at Ariel Hotel on Broadway 301 Broadway in downtown Lorain.

Managers from both hospitals will be available to interview candidates for a full-time registered nurse residency position on their unit, according to the release.
