Heart Walk set for Sept. 18

Lorain County Heart Walk will take place from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., Sept. 18, at Mercy Health Amherst Health Plex, 47160 Hollstein Drive in Amherst, according to a news release from the American Heart Association.

Participants can walk the trail all day long on the one-mile or threemile route, the release stated. The official route is available all weekend for the community, walkers and their families.

Participants may pick up their cool Heart Walk swag bag between 8 and 10 a.m. The Heart Walk swag is limited to the first 250 registered heart walkers, according to the release.
