Indians minors roundup

• Cody Morris (2-1) tossed four shutout innings in relief, striking out six, as Triple-A Columbus (53-60) prevailed, 2-1, in a rain-shortened game at Toledo. Will Benson doubled and had both RBI.

• Jose Fermin had a monster night, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a threerun home run in the seventh and six RBI as Double-A Akron (71-43) outslugged visiting Somerset, 8-6. Nic Enright (3-4) tossed two hitless and shutout innings in relief to get the win, striking out a pair.

• Micah Pries belted a three-run home run in the sixth as High Single-A Lake County (62-53) toppled visiting Beloit, 8-2. Kevin Coulter (9-4) struck out seven in six innings and got the win.

• Randy Labaut (3-2) worked three shutout innings of relief to earn the win as Low Single-A Lynchburg (57-58) recorded a 5-3 win at Fredericksburg. Gabriel Rodriguez had a two-run home run in the third.
