• Visiting Denison dropped Oberlin to 0-3 (0-2 NCAC) with a 59-12 decision. The Yeomen led, 6-3, halfway through the first quarter after a nine-play, 75-yard scoring drive that ended with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Chris Allen Jr. to Brandon Davis. Denison responded with 56 unanswered points.

• Host Mount Union (2-0, 1-0 OAC) shut out Baldwin Wallace (2-1, 1-1) in the second half to pull away for a 31-7victory.

• Visiting John Carroll (1-1, 1-0 OAC) rushed for 329 yards and cruised to a 4117victor­y over Otterbein. Demerius Goodwin rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns.

• Lake Erie College is 3-0 for the first time thanks to a 1710victor­y over McKendree. All three victories have been on the road.

• Visiting Notre Dame College (3-0) routed West Liberty, 51-10. Devanaire Conliffe caught three touchdown passes.

• Kaleb Eleby threw for 336 yards and three touchdowns and Western Michigan (2-1) stunned Pittsburgh (2-1), 44-41.

Brett Gabbert threw two touchdown passes and AJ Mayer threw for another, and Miami of Ohio (1-2) swarmed FCS Long Island (0-3), 42-7.

• DJ Irons threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Akron (1-2) to a 35-14victory over Bryant (1-2).

• Bryce Young’s first collegiate road start was a rousing success, a threetouch­down performanc­e that helped top-ranked Alabama (3-0) hold off No. 11 Florida (2-1), 31-29, in the Southeaste­rn Conference opener for both teams.

• Spencer Rattler passed for a touchdown and ran for another and No. 3Oklahoma held on to beat Nebraska, 23-16.

• Tyler Goodson ran for a career-high 153 yards and three touchdowns and No. 5 Iowa (3-0) beat Kent State (1-2) , 30-7. The Golden Flashes’ Dustin Crum (Midview) was 16-of-23passing for 185 yards and was sacked seven times.

• Desmond Ridder threw the go-ahead touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter, then scored on a 7-yard TD run. Jerome Ford ran for two scores and Tre Tucker scored on a 99-yard kickoff return as the No. 8 Bearcats (3-0) won their first road game of the season, 38-24 over Indiana.
